Can’t Win Them All…

Some people are never satisfied. We felt the need to share this customer rant with you… Names have been changed to protect the innocent. 🙂

Hello Esprit,

I ordered a box full of stuff yesterday morning around 10am and received it today at 3:30 pm…in perfect condition. I request that you cease this level of customer service immediately, it makes your competitors look very bad.

Thanks,
John

What can we say… We can’t please them all, or can we? 🙂 Thanks for your purchase John!

We’ve Got What Ya Need!

Let us help you with your power set up! Take a look at what one customer said about our recommendations!

Thank you Esprit!!
I installed this upgrade early this week. Have several flights on it.
Worth every penny.
Climbs from my hand to 450 ft. in 15 seconds.
Climbs from flying at 10 ft. to 500 ft. in 15 seconds.
I am using a TATTU 1550 mah 3 cell 75C battery.
This battery fits crosswise in the far aft pocket in the battery compartment.
I use 1 minute and 20 seconds of power on.
This gives me about 25 minutes of glide time in dead air, which is plenty for me. Battery voltage after this is 3.8 volts per cell.
Battery, ESC, and motor are cool after this.
The prop folds flat against the sides of the fuselage.
Seems like well planned sizes for all components. Except for the recommended battery, which I think is much bigger than I need.
This is not quite a drop in conversion, I had to remove the forward part of the G10 cross member. Not a problem and gave me a good chance to remove the heavy metal blocks that were buried in the foam.

Sikorsky Ilya Muromets

Take a look at this beautiful 16’ (4.87m) wingspan, 1/6 scale Sikorsky Ilya Muromets bomber. It is powered by four AXI 4130/20 motors on Jeti Advance 77 Opto electronic speed controllers using four 6S 4500mah LiPo packs and swinging 16×8 XOAR scimitar props.  It is the largest flying model of the Ilya Muromets and one of only two in the world. Thanks Sal for the amazing in-flight photos!

Janar’s F1A

We always love to see projects from our customers. Take a look at Janar’s beautiful free flight model F1A . It’s wingspan covers an amazing 2.4m and utilizes a Slobodan Midic MID103 airfoil. This beautiful model behaves beautifully when towed up to 112 meters (367 feet). In it he runs the Soaring Circuits RAM3 Recording Altimeter. Janar and his F1A plan to head to the Free Flight World Championships in Hungary next year. Good Luck Janar!

Amazing Conversion

Take a look at this amazing conversion presented by Manfred Gruber. This passenger-carrying Ultra-lightweight ULF1 was converted to electric power with the help of Hacker Motors and Jeti Duplex. It had its maiden flight at the 5th Gliding Fair in SchwabmĂĽnchen, and was quite a crowd pleaser. Take a look at this video of it in action.

Beautiful Vasa Fusion

Take a look a these photos submitted from one of our customers. This beautiful Vasa Model Fusion Jet has a wingspan of 790mm, a length of 740mm and weighs 580g! For the power system it is running a Kolibri T25 turbine and it is controlled on the Jeti 2.4 Duplex system. Watch the video below to “hear” how this customer has utilized Jeti’s telemetry feature.

Behind The Flight Line

All of us that fly RC know that it takes skills both on the flight line and off to complete a successful flight. On our first demo flight we had an unfortunate series of events during landing, resulting in a damaged wing (as any RC pilot can relate 🙂 ). We are very thankful to have had someone who possesses such skill with us at Joe Nall 2016. This damaged wing could have grounded us for our Friday noon demo flight. However, all thanks to Laura Melnik,  it didn’t. Laura is very talented in many ways, and one of her specialties just happens to be fabrication. She was able to rebuild a wing using only a few scraps of balsa, CA glue, and an aluminum can. This amazing patch job allowed us to continue flying Friday. She even added a little pizzazz with her handmade rivets! We want to extend a very sincere thank you to Laura for all her fast thinking and hard work.

Without her, The Jeti USA Girl Flight Team may not have made history.

Thank you Laura.
