Got a few flights on the electric 73” today back home, Can’t beat the weather for the end of December in Michigan. As for speed controllers on 28 pole motors I like using the Jeti Mezon controllers. They might cost a bit more than some of the others but they have always worked well for me on many different motor combinations, not to mention the simplicity of the setup with the built in 15 amp SBEC. No need for a separate battery for the model, Just plug in your ESC and go fly.
I’m running the Mezon 120 in my model and have over 500 flights on this setup with zero issues.
