Giant Turbine Messerschmitt P.1110

“Although the full-size German Me P.1110 was never produced, you can tell from this 1/3-scale RC version that it would have been a force to reckon with during WW II. Designed to be a high-altitude, jet-powered interceptor, it was intended as a deterrent to Allied bombing raids but the war ended before it could be put into production. Roland Meier’s 9-foot-span, wood-construction model is 12 feet long and powered by a Frank V Raptor turbine. Our thanks to RC Scale Airplanes for sharing this great flight footage.”

As The Sun Sets On Tucson…

Here is a great photo of Gernot Bruckman at the Tucson Aerobatic Shootout! What beautiful scenery to go with that awesome plane! It was such a pleasure to be in attendance at the shootout. What an amazing show it was, we are sad that is is over. We hope we get to do it again! Also, we want to give a huge congratulations to all of the winners at the event. Keep flying guys!
