Meet Victor Diaz

Victor Diaz has spent quite literally a lifetime in the hobby of RC aircraft. At the young age of seven, his father introduced the hobby to not only Victor, but his two brothers, as a Sunday family activity. It stuck like glue. In 1982, after flying fixed wing aircraft for some time, Victor decided to dabble in helicopters. Although having flown several different styles including pylon racing and helis, Victor’s focus is now on Pattern and Jets. For the past six years, he has participated in the NATS, and placed in the top 5 for the last four years. “(I) enjoy to help other people in this great hobby, so if you see me at any event you can stop by say hi or ask for my help,” States Victor. Welcome to the Team Victor! We look forward to seeing you on the field.

Welcome To The Team

Welcome Frank Dumas to the Jeti USA/ Esprit Model Flight Team!

Since around the age of ten, Frank Dumas has always dreamed of flying Remote Control Aircraft. One day, while walking through his local mall, a beginner’s electric sailplane kit caught his eye. This kit was exactly what Frank had wanted since childhood. Determined to fulfill his dream, he purchased the kit, built it, and crashed it within twenty four hours. His crash, however did not discourage him. Instead he repair it and eventually taught himself to fly RC.  Frank started flying various sailplanes, eventually expanding to 3D aircraft, fast EDFs and then to foamies. Frank currently flies in his hometown at the DESS (Down East Soaring Society) Club, attending competitions whenever he can. “I fly there whenever I get the chance, but usually fly in parks around Raleigh/Durham NC.” Stated Frank. Can’t wait to see you on the field!
