Start new 2019 season with brand new Jeti DS-12 2.4GHz/900MHz Dual Band radio system. Dual band, dual redundant frequency hopping radio system is fully designed and manufactured by Jeti Model in the Czech republic. With 12 channels, mini USB port, built-in speaker, headset jack, plastic transmitter gimbals with Hall sensors (4096 step resolution) and 4 ball bearings for precision movement, a large 320×240 color, backlight display and many other features the Jeti DS-12s are sure to become the new standard in transmitter performance.
Very nice! Haptic feedback on sticks?
Yes transmitter has haptic feedback just no on the sticks.
Are these Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled?
The are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth ready, we will have those as plug-in modules.
With Jeti Device Explorer interface for wireless communication you do not need them.
And the RRP please?
Is this an entry level Jeti? Plastic transmitter gimbals?
Same as standard DS-14 Hall sensor, multi-mode gimbals.
When will it be released?
We are talking about March-May 2019, must be ready for 2019 flying season. 🙂
Looks like all the features that people want in the DS/DC-24 without the extra channels and unlockables. Hopefully this keeps the price down and will help to convert more people to Jeti. Lookin great but that price point will be the real selling factor. This looks to be aimed directly at the Spektrum iX-12 and if it comes in within $200 of that radio I think it will be a real winner.
That’s a plastic case, right?
Yes. all molded plastic. Transmitter will come in different colors.
I have been flying the DS 14 for the past 4 years.
The gimbal still feel silky smooth, I personally can not feel
The difference between these and the DS16 gimbals.
is the 900MHz (only) used for telemetry ?
No, we are more advanced than that. 🙂
Both 2.4GHz and 900MHz have independent telemetry.
All works seamlessly.
How about LUA apps will they be available for the DS12?
Has not been decided yet.
What will the price be
Should be around $550.00 – $600.00
I’m wondering if the programming is exactly the same as, for instance, the DS16.
I like the elevator trim on the lefthand knop (easy while aerotowing)
B.t.w. flying mode 2
Same, you can assign trims anywhere you like. Complete flexibility.
Can the gimbals be rotated?
Hello, anyone here?
Yes they can, same as other Jeti radios
Awesome! thank you, I have pre ordered from Esprit!
Is it possible to have 3 position switches instead of the rotary nobs (5 and 6)?
